Welcome to W Milligan & Sons
Based in Millom Cumbria on the outskirts of the Lake district, W.Milligan & Sons are a family business established in 1966 by William Milligan and his sons Bill and John. They purchased a building in what was foundry Road in Millom, and this building has developed over the years to become a standalone Ford franchised authorized repair and service centre, with an accident repair bodyshop attached.
In 1968 they acquired a building that the Cumberland bus depot was selling due to the introduction of double decker buses, this building is now the New Car Showroom in Market street Millom, holding the Ford franchise since 1981.
In 1988 a large garden centre in Haverigg was acquired to house the vast used car stock, and this today still operates at Port Haverigg Car Centre.
W.Milligan and Sons still operates as a family business, John Milligan is still working in his 70s and his children Helen and Jonathan now help him run things.
The whole team are a family and they work hard to keep the excellent reputation built over the last 50 years, based on transparency, trust and family values.
The buying experience with W.Milligan and Sons is pressure free and enjoyable. The quality of the used cars are excellent as most are 1 owner local part exchanges. This and the keen prices offered attract customers, the superb aftersales service team ensures that customers return year after year.
